The TVS Orbiter is the company's most affordable electric scooter, positioned as an entry point into the brand's EV lineup. Launched initially in a single variant, TVS has since expanded the range with a more affordable version. Here's what separates the two variants.

Orbiter V1
The most notable difference between the V1 and V2 is to do with the powertrain. The V1 is equipped with a 1.8kWh battery pack offering a claimed IDC range of 86km. While this is notably lower than the V2, the smaller battery translates to faster charging times of 2 hours and 20 minutes for a 0-80 percent charge. Power comes from a BLDC motor with peak output of 2.8kW, and the scooter's top speed is capped at 68kph.
Despite the smaller battery, the V1 retains all the features and design elements of the V2. This includes the 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheel setup, colour LCD display, cruise control, and hill-hold control.
The base V1 variant is priced at Rs 84,500 or as low as Rs 49,999 if you opt for the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) scheme. This makes it the most affordable option in TVS' electric scooter lineup.
Orbiter V2
The V2 comes equipped with a larger 3.1kWh battery pack offering a significantly higher claimed IDC range of 158km. The larger battery does mean longer charging times of 4 hours and 10 minutes for a 0-80 percent charge.
Mechanically and in terms of features, the V2 is identical to the V1, using the BLDC motor, 68kph top speed, colour LCD display, cruise control, hill-hold control, and more. The underseat storage, floorboard dimensions, and seat length also remain the same as the V1.
The V2 is available in six colour options, while the V1 only offers two. The Orbiter V2 is priced at Rs 99,900.
