I want to buy a new scooter and I want something smooth and reliable which is why I have kept the choice between two best selling Japanese scooters. I don’t have any personal preference between these two so please help me to decide between Activa or Access

Autocar India says: The Honda Activa is a household name, but it's actually the Suzuki Access that is India’s best selling 125cc scooter. Either way you go, you will get a smooth, refined and trustworthy scooter, but there are differences in how each one rides. The Honda prioritises smoothness above all else and its overall performance is a step lower than the Access.
Both scooters are well equipped with things like TFT displays in their top variants and the Honda also offers a keyless option. Pricing is quite similar as well so that’s not a reason to pick between the two either, although we would advise that you pick a model with a front disc brake.
In our reviews, we found the new Suzuki Acces to be an excellent all rounder with a smooth riding experience and good fuel efficiency, but also enjoyable performance when you want it. The Activa is a perfectly good scooter if you want the expected peace of mind that comes with Honda products, but we find that the Access is a better all rounder and it's the one we would recommend.
