I’m looking to buy my first family-friendly electric scooter, mainly for daily commuting of about 25 km. I’m confused between the Ola S1 Air, TVS iQube, and Ather Rizta — what’s the best buy?

Autocar India says: The Ola S1 Air remains the most budget-friendly option, but concerns around after-sales support and long-term reliability still remain. The TVS iQube is the most practical choice, offering a comfortable ride, simple interface and strong dealer network. What further strengthens its case is that it’s available in a wide range of variants with different battery sizes, so there’s an iQube to suit most needs and budgets, even if it isn’t the sportiest or most feature-rich. The Ather Rizta, meanwhile, focuses on family-friendly usability with a roomy design, solid build quality and smooth software, though at a higher price. Recently, Ather also launched the Rizta S 3.7, which combines the larger 3.7kWh battery pack of the top-spec Z with the simpler feature set and lower price point of the S, making it a more compelling middle ground thanks to its longer range and improved value.
