The TVS iQube has quickly grown to become one of the most popular electric scooters in India. TVS has now sent out an invite for a brand new “electric-flying launch that will defy the status quo in mobility.
This new product will not have anything to do with the existing iQube, or the upcoming iQube ST. The range-topping TVS iQube ST with its huge 5kWh battery has been long overdue for launch now. However, it is now unclear whether a scooter with such a large battery pack makes financial sense given the recent slashing of the FAME-II subsidy.
We believe this upcoming TVS electric scooter launch will be a completely new product and that it might be something radically different. Whether it will have any similarities to the well-received TVS Creon concept from the 2018 Auto Expo also remains to be seen.
It stands to reason that this will be a unique, youthful, and perhaps even a performance oriented product given that the invite mentions “Thrill has a date”. Speaking of, the date is August 23 and the venue is Dubai. The international venue also hints at the fact that this will be a premium offering.
